Prosecutors are arguing that the Columbus teen who is accused of being involved in the shooting death of his twin brother should be charged as an adult.
Dennis Lewis was shot inside his Columbus home while defending his mother during an attempted robbery on January 18th.
Police later found a bloody palm print on a bedroom wall that matched the palm of Dennis’ twin brother, Derris Lewis, who turned 18 two weeks after the shooting.
Prosecutors say the only logical explanation for the print’s existence is that Derris was involved in the crime.
The boys’ mother, April Lewis, testified in court that Derris was not home the night of the shooting, and she added that ‘he never would have taken part in such a crime.’
