A Ross County man was arrested Tuesday afternoon following a brief standoff with police.
57-year-old Jim Maple reportedly attacked his son’s girlfriend and then barricaded himself in his home.
Officials say Maple had several guns at his disposal and even threatened to shoot if anyone approached his house.
Maple eventually surrendered after his son arrived on the scene and talked him into coming out peacefully.
He is currently facing assault charges, but additional charges could still be filed.
