Granville Schools has a new district treasurer.

The school board selected Margaret Betts to replace Brett Griffith, who resigned from the position to take a similar job in a suburban Cincinnati school district.

The board is scheduled to vote on Betts’ contract during its meeting Monday, but she will likely start work on June 2nd.

Betts is currently the assistant treasurer at Upper Arlington City Schools, but has also served as treasurer for Gahanna-Jefferson City Schools, Newark City Schools and Reynoldsburg City Schools.
