Authorities have reportedly found the gun used to kill three people in east Newark in May 2005.
Ballistics testing has proven that the bullets used to kill John Boyce, James Bryant and Misty Butts came from a handgun found in 32-year-old Iradell Crumpton’s former Detroit home.
Crumpton is facing 17 charges, including aggravated murder charges with death penalty specifications.
The shootings took place in the 400 block of East Main Street on May 16th, 2005.
Crumpton was arrested four days after the murders in Detroit for an unrelated probation violation and has been behind bars ever since.
