A Zanesville man was arrested early Sunday morning for leading police on a high-speed chase.

Officers responded to a domestic dispute call at a home on Maple Avenue around 4 a.m., but the 22-year-old man fled the scene as soon as police arrived.

Officials say the suspect led officers through a residential neighborhood before they lost sight of him, but he was arrested at a house on Tannehill Street a short time later.

Charges are currently pending, but the man will likely face charges of felony fleeing and other traffic violations.

He is being held in the city jail.
