Two college students were found dead in their Athens-area apartment early Saturday morning.

Athens police say the bodies of 22-year-old Kelly Armbruster of Powell and 22-year-old Christopher Theil of Athens were found inside the off-campus apartment around 6:15 a.m.

Armbruster was a student at Ohio University in Athens, while Theil attended Hocking College in nearby Nelsonville.

Police haven’t released any other information, but autopsies are being conducted at the Montgomery County Medical Examiner’s office.
